Accommodation

All the above-mentioned accommodation units are very close to the Diocletian Palace and a short walk away from the conference room. However, you can choose to stay in any other hotel of your preference. We hope that this information will prove useful to you.

Although Croatia is the EU member state, its currency is ‘kuna’ (HRK). The current exchange rate is 1 euro = 7.6 kunas

The nearest airport is Split airport and many of the low-cost airlines fly there during the summer season. From Split airport there is a direct connection to the city, buses leave every 30 minutes and it takes approximately 20 minutes to get to Split Central station.

Travel information

You can also consider booking a boat from Ancona, Italy (Blueline or Jadrolinija) if travelling from Italy.

Bus could also be a traveling option.

Zadar or Zagreb Airport might be a good alternative, too. From Zadar airport you need to travel to Split by bus. It takes approximately 3 hours to get to Split Central station. From Zagreb airport, there are at least two flights to Split on a daily basis. The travel takes approximately 40 minutes. For additional information, please check Croatia Airlines
